Deck watch in case

Deck watch in case Long Caption: Although from land-locked Switzerland, the firm founded by Ulysse Nardin (1823-1876) has a very important place in the history of the marine chronometer. In addition to a number of fine deck watch models, Nardin's marine chronometer, model M.G.F., is particularly significant, being a superb design and the one adopted by the US watchmaking corporation Hamilton in 1941 to be the basis of their rapidly produced, but highly successful, Model 21.
