Sphere and stand Long Caption: Celestial table globe. It forms a pair with the terrestrial globe, Martin GLB0079. Astronomical details on the sphere include a labelled magnitude table above Bootes. The stars are marked by their Bayer notation. The Milky Way is labelled and a total of 44 stars and five star groups are named. The 48 Ptolemaic constellations and three of the non-Ptolemaic constellations are drawn. Four of the southern constellations are drawn, as well as those of Plancius. The constellations of Hevelius are present but a few are not visible due to damage.
