Ship of 110 guns, port 3/4 bow Long Caption: Scale: approximately 1:120. Model of a 100 gun first rate ship of the line with the name Impregnable on the stern. The model is made entirely of wood with metal and organic material fittings. The hull is carved from a solid piece of wood and planking has been applied below the waterline. The closed wales are painted black. There are three gun decks all painted yellow ochre with black stripes between them. All the gun port lids are depicted open with black upper faces and red lower faces and edges. The guns are all depicted rolled out, however, some are missing. There are two stocked Admiralty pattern anchors made in brass with rope cable passing through hawseholes at the bows.
