'Bellona', starboard stern quarter Long Caption: Scale: 1:48. A contemporary block design model of the ‘Bellona’ (1760), a 74-gun, two-decker ship of the line. The ‘Bellona’ was designed by Sir T. Slade and built at Chatham. It measured 168 feet along the gun deck, by 47 feet in the beam. Its armament comprised twenty-eight 32-pounders on the main deck, twenty-eight 18-pounders on the upper deck, fourteen 9-pounders on the quarterdeck and four 9-pounders on the forecastle.
