Ship of 24 guns, port 3/4 bow Long Caption: Scale: 1:48. A contemporary full hull model of a 24-gun, sixth-rate sloop (circa 1745), built in the Georgian style. The model is decked, equipped and rigged with the sails furled. From the model, the vessel measured 109 feet in length along the gun deck by 30 feet in the beam, displacing approximately 430 tons burden. It was armed with twenty 9-pounders on the gun deck and four 6-pounders on the quarterdeck.
