Bowl, part of a set reputedly belonging to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) Long Caption: Sugar bowl, part of a Queen's pattern tea service said to have belonged to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). The sugar basin and cover are painted with a pattern of curving gold lines overall on a white background and scalloped gold rims. The lid has a well-modelled flower knob with the separate petals and leaves picked out in gold.
