Puppet 'Devil', part of the Punch and Judy set Long Caption: Glove puppet, part of a Punch and Judy set belonging to puppeteer Peter Butchard (1909-2009). The puppet represents the devil and has a red wooden head with horns, black fur fabric hair, pointed ears and a hooked nose and chin. The left hand is wood, the right hand covered with white leather. The body of the puppet is made of a twill-woven pink fabric lined with white. The figure wears a dark pink cotton cap. The puppet play ends with a fight between Punch and the Devil - Punch wins.
