'Saluto' (1867) riding out the waves close inshore Long Caption: A very distant port quarter view, taken from the shore, of the sailing barque 'Saluto' (1867) at anchor, riding out the waves close inshore near Cudden Point. She was later totally abandoned and wrecked. Thirteen crew were rescued by the Newlyn lifeboat 'Elizabeth and Blanche (II)' on 13 December 1911.
