'Great Britain II', starboard broadside Long Caption: A modern waterline scenic model of the ketch rigged yacht 'Great Britain II', circa 1972. The hull is carved from the solid, painted and set in a plaster sea base. It is fully equipped, with the sails set and complete with scale figures. The model is inscribed ‘Great Britain II’ on the port and starboard bows and stern, ‘CR1’ on the port stern, and ‘K3566’ on the mainsail. On the wooden base the label reads, ‘Great Britain II presented by the Army Sailing Association, winner FT clipper Race 1975-6’. There is also a maker’s label, ‘Brian H Williams Marine Artist’.
