Royal Naval uniform: pattern 1812 Long Caption: Single-breasted waistcoat of white wool twill belonging to a flag officer. The garment is lined with white silk twill and backed with calico. It is interesting to note that it still retains the three-pointed pocket flaps, introduced with the 1748 patterns.
