Warship; 74 guns Long Caption: Scale: Unknown. A model of a Royal Navy warship made in plaster with wood, metal, paper, and cotton fittings which has been realistically painted. The model depicts the vessel at 13.40 on 21 October 1805 at the height of the Battle of Trafalgar and the ship is shown with damage sustained in the battle. The ship is three masted, ship rigged and with set sails, showing shot damage. The hull is painted black with white stripes along the two gun decks. Dark grey smoke covers the entire length of the deck. The decks are painted white with black deck fittings. There is a white ensign flying from the peak of the gaff.
