Passenger vessel Long Caption: Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger vessel. The hull is painted black with brick red at the bow and stern waterline, a fine white stripe at main deck level running the entire length of the hull, and white upperparts. The decks are painted a uniform cream with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The foredeck includes anchor cable gear, a derrick mast and two derricks and two hatches. The superstructure is placed amidships the front elevation of which is slightly convex, with the bridge at the top. The main deck has open promenades as has the deck above. The boat deck has seven pairs of lifeboats, painted white with pale grey covers, all stowed on davits. The rearmost pair of boats are slightly smaller then the rest. Between these is a small skylight and four small ventilators. Between the two sets of boats, on B deck, are a pair of funnels, painted cream with black tops. Clustered around each funnel are four ventilators. There are three white-painted grid-patterned square areas, one between the funnels and the other two aft of them, which might depict skylights. The aft area of the deck below has a derrick mast that serves two closely-positioned hatches on the aft cargo deck. The aft cargo deck also has a pair of derricks. The raised poop deck has a pair of standard-sized lifeboats stowed on davits. All the lifeboats depicted, apart from the small ones, appear to have collapsible lifeboats stowed beneath them.
