Anchor model Long Caption: Scale: Unknown. A model depicting part of the process of manufacturing a scarph chock anchor made entirely of iron. The model shows an irregular trapezium-shaped lump of iron, with four smooth flattened faces. Attached to one end of the wedge, and extending from it, is a long, tapering, four-sided bar, with an angled shoulder which is slightly irregular in shape, terminating to a point. On two of the smooth sides '3' is stamped and the number '1' is stamped on the tapered square section.
