Anchor model Long Caption: Scale: Unknown. A model of a Perrin anchor made entirely in wood. The shank is oval in section and becomes square in section towards the top, where it also bulges out slightly to incorporate a circular aperture for a ring. Directly beneath the aperture is a pair of shoulders. At the bottom of the shank, on one side, close to the crown is inscribed in black ink "C". The arms are crescent-shaped and terminate in a pair of conventionally-shaped flukes (both partly broken).
