'Queen Elizabeth' (1924) Long Caption: Scale: 1:24. A half block model of the 'Queen Elizabeth' (1924), a river passenger launch. The hull is built from two horizontal planks of wood in bread and butter fashion and secured to a rectangular wooden backboard, the whole of which is in natural wood and varnished. The model represents one of five vessels built to this design, the others being the Abercorn (1925), Cliveden (1931), Mapledurham (1927) and Viscountess (1926).
