'Vesper' (1878) Long Caption: Scale: 1:48. A half block model of the starboard side of the cargo ship 'Vesper' (1878), made entirely in wood and partly painted and polished a mid-brown colour. The hull is polished wood below the waterline and black above. Features and fittings include a raised bulwark section amidships, stump foremast and mainmast, and propeller well. The model is displayed on a rectangular wooden backboard with bevelled edges and which has a crack running longitudinally.
