HMS 'Arrow' (1854) Long Caption: Scale: 1:48. A model of the starboard side of HMS 'Arrow' (1854), 12 guns, made entirely in wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull below the waterline is painted brown with a narrow cream stripe above, and black above the waterline. The single deck is painted a uniform white. The quarter and stern galleries are shown. Fittings include six guns run out, rudder, a hawsehole and figurehead in the form of a bust. There is an aperture in the backboard indicating a propeller cavity. The model is displayed on a white backboard with a stained bevelled edge. Number "(18)" on backboard. Plaque has been removed.
