'Prueba' (1800) Long Caption: Scale: 1:48. A model of the starboard side of 'Prueba' (1800), a 38-gun warship made entirely in wood and painted in realistic colours. The hull below the waterline is painted brown and black above the waterline, and the main deck, forecastle, and poop are painted a uniform cream. The starboard quarter and stern galleries are shown. Fittings include a cathead, rudder, stump fore, main and mizzen masts, and raised bulwarks at the bow. The model is displayed on a cream backboard with a stained bevelled edge.
