Smalschips near a wharf

PY1735

Smalschips near a wharf Long Caption: Three smalschips lying near a wharf. One smalschip has her mainsail brailed up (but the sprit is not shown). The other two have their sails lowered and the sprit slung in the yard tackle. On the right is a crowded wharf with a large ship alongside, with only her lower-masts stepped. This drawing is of poor quality and doubtful authenticity. It is approximately dated by the style and subject.
