'Boscawen' (1844) Long Caption: Scale: 1:48. An Office Copy plan showing the inboard profile, with alterations, for 'Boscawen' (1844), a 70-gun Third Rate, two-decker, building at Woolwoich Dockyard. NMM, Progress Book, volume 6, folio 195, states that 'Boscawen' (1844) was being built at Woolwich Dockyard between January 1826 and her launch on 3 April 1844. She was then moved to Sheerness Dockyard, arriving on 4 April 1844 to be fitted for ordinary, which was completed on 26 September 1848.
