Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich Long Caption: The Trafalgar Tavern was built in 1837 and soon celebrated for its whitebait suppers, attended by Members of Parliament who arrived by barge from Westminster; these dinners continued until 1883. The pub was later used as a hotel and flats, but restored to pub and restaurant use in 1964 and still in business today.
