Fish hook Long Caption: A relic of Sir John Franklin's last expedition 1845-1848. A fish hook made from expedition copper found in the possession of the Inuit on the Adelaide Peninsula by the Schwatka Search Expedition 1878-1879. The copper fish hook is attached to a piece of bone - the side of the hook protrudes through the side of the bone and is secured by a rivet. There are two holes at the top.
