Watch Long Caption: Watch in silver hunter case with silver watch chain. It is signed on the barrel bridge 'Allam ; Caithness London 3069'. The case back is hallmarked 'London 1801-1802' with incuse stamp 'T.G'. (Thomas Gibbard?). A hand written pasted label is inside the front cover with the words 'Mid. J. Pollard. R.N. HMS Victory shot the Swiss sharpshooter at 1-30. The inscription is thought to be dubious. Pollard is said to have killed the sharpshooter who shot Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805).
