Curved bladed dirk Long Caption: Curved bladed dirk. The hilt consists of a crocodile-mask pommel which is fitted to a small loop from which is attached a gilt wire, a yellowed ivory grip and upturned quillons with a crocodile set into a side ring. The blade is curved, blued and gilt. There is a black leather scabbard fitted with two gilt lockets with rings and gilt chape. The top locket also has a dirk knot attached to it. It belonged to Captain H.T.A. Bosanquet CVO RN (1870-1959).
