Italian Kingdom of the Two Sicilies dirk Long Caption: Italian Kingdom of the Two Sicilies dirk. The hilt consists of a grooved wooden grip, with flat pommel and prominent tang button. Traces of decoration around the latter are too faint to be distinguishable and the ferrule is plain. An oval cross-guard, has an inset anchor on either side of the blade, and traces of floral decoration. Blade is of flattened hexagonal section, with a slight shoulder, a spear point and etched decoration.
