Court sword, which belonged to Reverend Henry Bellairs (1790-1872) Long Caption: The hilt of the sword consists of upturned gilt quillons and an upturned gilt shell. The obverse side of the shell is decorated with an embossed crown motif surrounded by a wreath. The shell is decorated with an embossed pearl border. The gilt grip is decorated with an embossed design of pearls, as is the pommel. The sword comes complete with a sword knot, which consists of gold lace ribbon.
