Sphere and stand Long Caption: Terrestrial table globe. It forms a pair with the celestial globe, Valk GLB0103. Geographical details on the sphere include loxodromes drawn for 32 compass points. At the east coast of Greenland there are three notes in Dutch, and there is a comment in the north polar region. In central Asia, the Caspian Sea and Lake Aral are depicted and labelled. The extension of the northwest coast of America is labelled 'TERRA INCOGNITA sive MARE de ARAL'.
